Larry "Don" Graves

Larry LaDon “Don” Graves was born to Roy and Vera Mae Graves on October 20, 1940 in Elmore City, OK and entered eternal life January 9,2022 at the age of 81. He grew up in Garvin County and attended school in Wynnewood. Don and Mary Hall were married on July 29,1967 in Ardmore, OK. Together they raised 7 children. Don was a person who loved to work. He was employed by the Oklahoma Blood Institute and worked in the maintenance department there up until 2 days of his death. He was a family man. The most important thing to him was the time he and Mary spent with family. He loved having them all together and having a meal. The choices he made allowed them to always know he loved them and had their welfare in mind. He was a strong man of faith. He was a quiet man. He also loved raising chickens and horses. He leaves to mourn his passing: Wife: Mary of the home Sons: James Graves and wife Cathy, Larry L. Graves Jr. and wife Patti, Lonnie Graves and wife Lisa, Donald Lee Graves, Gary Graves and wife Kellie and Glen Graves and wife Karla Daughter Justine Horin and husband Wayne Sisters: Joyce, Carol, Donna Kay and Sue his twin. Grandchildren 19 Great grandchildren 28 and great-grandchildren 1 He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dewayne, Pete and Ray Graves and a sister Gloria Mae Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Elmore City. Interment will follow in the Elmore City Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
