Kathyrene Mae Hannah

Kathyrene Mae Hannah, 88, passed from this life on April 2nd, 2022, at her home in Noble, OK with her loving family at her bedside following a long illness. She was born on August 29th 1933 to George and Dolly Morris in Corley, OK. Graduating from Pauls Valley High School with the class of 1951, Kathyrene later that same year married Don Hannah who would stand beside her for the next seventy years. Don’s military career took the couple from Connecticut to California. They ultimately settled in Oklahoma to raise their family. Kathyrene worked as a dental assistant in Pauls Valley and Oklahoma City until her retirement. Many folks knew her for her gardening and cooking skills. Her love for her family was a true blessing. She was a devoted Christian and member of Trinity Baptist Church of Pauls Valley. Her surviving family who will cherish the memory of her well lived life: Husband: Don Hannah of Noble Son: Jesse Don Hannah Jr. “Pete” and wife Katrina of Noble Grandchildren: Justin Hannah and wife Heather of Turpin; Phillip Hannah of Purcell; Ashleigh Hannah Morr and husband Trevor of Noble; and William Pearson of Norman. Several great-grandchildren. Kathyrene was preceded in death by: her parents, George and Dolly Morris; brothers, Eli, Gus, and Kenneth Morris; sisters, Irene Lambert, Pauline Holland, and Lorene Mullins; also her daughter, Patricia Pearson. The family wishes to express thanks to Oklahoma Hospice for their kindness and professionalism. Funeral services to give thanks for and celebrate the life of Kathyrene Hannah are scheduled for Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Robinson officiating.
