Jimmy Dale Tadlock

March 19, 1961 - April 2, 2017

Jimmy Dale Tadlock of Elmore City, Oklahoma was born to Donald Ray and Mary Jo (Hudson) Tadlock on March 19, 1961 in Nocona, Texas and passed from this life on April 2, 2017 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years. Jim grew up in Pernell, Oklahoma and graduated from Pernell High School. He later was employed by Jones Drilling and Trans World Drilling where he worked as an off-shore driller in Louisiana and Indonesia. He also worked for a number of years as a blaster for MPI. Twenty-five years ago Jim opened his own business, “Jim’s Garage”, in Elmore City. He loved working on cars; it was his work and his hobby. Jim had a heart for his community where he served on the City Council. Jim is one of Elmore City’s lawn mower racing winners in the Footloose Festival competition. He was declared champion many times and later allowed others to ride his mower in the competition … and they won. Jim was a very good example for his children, teaching them the importance of a strong work ethic and moral character. He will be remembered as a person who was “good to others.” Jim is survived by: Sons: Jeremy Dale Tadlock and wife Tamara of Elmore City, Oklahoma Michael Warden and wife Bonney of Tuttle, Oklahoma Daughter: Amanda Christopher and husband Arther of Mustang, Oklahoma Brothers: Don Tadlock of Elmore City, Oklahoma and Steve Tadlock of Midland, Texas Grandchildren: Hunter Brace, Mason Bloodworth, Trigger Thomas Tadlock, Jaida Warden, Isaac Warden, Arthur Christopher, Magnus Christopher Best Friend: Bonnie Greenland Preceded in Death by: Parents: Mary Jo and Charles Tunstill A memorial service will be held at Foster Cemetery on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
