Inadean Rose Rogers Hoyle passed from this life in Lindsay, Oklahoma, on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Ina was born September 21, 1936, at the General Hospital in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Henry Calloway Rogers and Toylee Rogers. She was raised east of Bradley on The Pleasant Valley Farm. Ina had two sisters, Joycelene Badertscher of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Mary Sue Lathrop of Kingston, Oklahoma. She also had one brother, Wayne Joseph (Buddy) Rogers of Kingston, Oklahoma. Ina attended school in Bradley, Oklahoma, where she was named Co-Valedictorian in 1954. She participated in basketball and softball, and she played on the only girls softball team to make it to the state tournament. Ina was also a member of the Beta Club and Home Economics. Sometime in the 8th grade, Ina started dating her high school sweetheart, L.B. Hoyle. They were married September 24, 1954, at the First Baptist Church in Bradley. Together they raised two girls, Melinda Kay Jones of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Melissa Ann Wells of Lexington, Oklahoma. Ina worked at Western Wireline Oilfield Services Company in Lindsay for eleven years while raising her family as L.B. continued farming operations. Then, in 1970, L.B. took a job with State Farm Insurance, and the family moved to Lindsay, Oklahoma, where they have remained for the past 50 years. Ina played the piano at the First Baptist Church in Bradley, Oklahoma, and L.B. lead singing there for ten years. Ina was a member of the Washita Home Demonstration Club, Beta Sigma Phi sorority, and the Lindsay Progressive Study Club. She and LB were blessed with 65 years of marriage, along with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and supporting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren by attending their sporting events and activities. Ina was preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Toylee Rogers, one sister; Joycelene Badertscher, and one brother; Wayne Joseph (Buddy) Rogers. She is survived by her husband; L.B. Hoyle of Lindsay, Oklahoma, her children; Melinda and Ron Jones of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Melissa Wells of Lexington, Oklahoma, one sister; Mary Lathrop of Kingston, Oklahoma, five grandchildren; Brooke and John Inman of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Jesse Todd of Lexington, Oklahoma, Brock and Michelle Jones of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dalton and Stephanie Todd of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Shana Todd of Maysville, Oklahoma, six great-grandchildren; Navy Wesberry of Silo, Oklahoma, Zoely and Tripp Stephens of Maysville, Oklahoma, Tessa and Marlee Inman of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Asher Todd of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and a host of nieces, nephews, and crazy cousins. In addition, Ina is survived by her sister-in-law, Pat Rogers, of Kingston, Oklahoma, as well as her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Edward and Nancy Hoyle of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held at the pavilion at the Bradley Cemetery on Thursday, July 23, at 10:00 AM, with Gene Sanders and Pastor Randy Allen officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oklahoma Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
