Harold Ray Stubblefield of Elmore City, Oklahoma passed from this life peacefully at his home on September 5, 2016 at the age of 83. A graveside service will be set for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Elmore City cemetery. Harold was born to CE Stubblefield and Mable (Pyle) Stubblefield on June 14, 1933 in Satterwhite Oklahoma. Harold was a beloved father and grandfather with 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. During his life he worked as a farmer in Plainview Texas, a machinist for General Dynamics in Fort Worth Texas, mechanic in Elmore City and was a heavy equipment operator from 1977 until forced to retire due to a stroke. Harold served on the Elmore City Volunteer Fire Department for 7 years. He served as fire chief for 3 of those years. he served on the city council of Elmore City for 4 years. He attended the Doyle Community Church where he served as Deacon and the Elmore City Baptist Church. His most precious memories were spent with his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews at family functions. He very much loved his family. Harold was preceded in death by his sister Karen Joy (Stubblefield) Barnett of Lewisville Texas, brother Vernon Stubblefield of Duncan Oklahoma, brother Eugene Clinton Stubblefield of Elmore City Oklahoma, his wife Diann (Jones) Stubblefield and his youngest son Clayton Brett Stubblefield of Elmore City Oklahoma. He is survived by sons Donnie and Bonnie (Henry) Stubblefield of Elmore City, Alton Stubblefield of Elmore City and Cindy Stubblefield of Elmore City, Pepper (Logan) Stubblefield of Elmore City Oklahoma. 4 grandchildren, Micheal Stubblefield of Elmore City Oklahoma, Alicia (Stubblefield) and Roy Greenway of Elk City Oklahoma, Thomas and Nissa (Stubblefield) Rollins of Dibble Oklahoma, Dylan Harris of Pauls Valley Oklahoma, 7 great grandchildren. Brothers Donald and Verbalee of Oklahoma City, Curtis and Sue Stubblefield of Wynnewood, sisters Butch and Carolyn (Stubblefield) Moxley of Perry Oklahoma, Chuck and Elaine (Stubblefield) Fancher of Wynnewood Oklahoma and many nephews and nieces.
