Frances May Williams of Doyle, Oklahoma was born to Floyd G. and Merrill May (Middleton) Monroe on July 4, 1922 in La Ceiba, Honduras and passed from this life on November 29, 2013 in Fletcher, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years. Frances grew up and attended school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She and Floyd Layman were married and made their home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Frances later married Jack Williams and together they made their home in Doyle, Oklahoma. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and reading. Frances will be remembered for her quick wittiness. The highlight of her life was her family. Mrs. Williams is survived by: 2 sons: Jack Williams and wife Sandy of Lindsay, Oklahoma Dwight Williams and wife Christie of Little Rock, Arkansas 3 daughters: Joy Jean Millette of Lowell, Massachusetts Sharon Hunter and husband Wesley of Fletcher, Oklahoma Judy Brandon and husband Lee of Cement, Oklahoma 4 sisters: Nancy, Doris, Lillian, and Mary Lou 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren A host of nieces and nephews Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by: Her husbands: Floyd Layman and Jack Williams Son: Jeffrey Williams Parents: Floyd and Merrill Monroe Brothers: Floyd Monroe and Freddy Monroe Sister: Lila Jenkins Great-grandson: Blake Jeffrey Hunter Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in the Elmore City Cemetery with Rev.
