Creya Nyree Jones

Creya Nyree Jones, 46, passed on August 20, 2021. She was born to Cecil Jones II (deceased) and Yvonne Thrash in Ardmore, Oklahoma on January 15, 1975. She is survived by her daughter Chelsey Jones and her two grandsons Kharter and Khayden Murray. She is also survived by her mother Yvonne Jones and Jeffrey Terrell, four sisters Charra Jones, Chayvon Jones, Chancil and Michael Jackson and Catrenna and Rodney Rollerson. Creya was the godmother to Candice Edwards and Shybotrish (ShyShy) Smith. Candice is the mother to her two granddaughters Cherish Nelson and Aubrey Turner. Preceding her in death were grandson Zaylen Jones, Father Cecil Jones II, and grandparents Lewis Sr. and Perfelthia Thrash, Cecil Sr. and Cecilia Jones along with uncles, aunts and cousins. Creya gave her life to Christ at an early age, she was baptized by Rev. F.M. Lawson. Creya graduated from Wright's Career College where she received an Associate Degree in Software Administration. Creya was a collector of many things, especially feminine things. She was a girly girl and would switch up her look w ith a blink of an eye. She met no strangers and at some point, if you were a friend you became her family. Creya had a tough exterior but those that truly knew her would say she was a softy. She had the gift of gab, she walked to her own beat and while we pondered on the dash between the beginning and the end just know she lived her life to the fullest. She leaves behind 7 nephews and 4 nieces along with a list of cousins and friends.
