Carolyn Diann Pettit of Elmore City, Oklahoma was born to George E. and Mary Ann (Shirley) Brister on December 5, 1960 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma and passed from this life on March 28, 2021 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years. Carolyn grew up and attended school at Elmore City, Oklahoma, graduating in 1979. She married Don Pettit on August 18, 1989 and together they made their home in Elmore City. Carolyn worked for the Elmore City Ambulance for 12 years and as a CMA. She was a member of the Elmore City First Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the casino, going to concerts with friends, and spending time with her family. The highlights of her life were her grandchildren, whom she adored. Mrs. Pettit is survived by: Sons: David Daves and wife Rikki of Elmore City, Oklahoma, and daughter Reagan Danny Pettit and wife Niki of Lindsay, Oklahoma and children, Skylar and Bentley Daughter: Katelyn Jones and husband Houston of Elmore City and soon to be born daughter, Dallas father: George Brister of Elmore City, Oklahoma brother: Tony Brister and wife Vickie of Elmore City, Oklahoma and children Jessica, Austin and Sarah sister: Jennifer Genereux of Wayne and sons, Gavin and Aiden numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Mrs. Pettit was preceded in death by: Husband: Don Pettit Mother: Mary Ann Brister Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Elmore City First Baptist Church with Rev.
