Ronald Lee Milledge

Ronald Lee Milledge was born on May 16, 1958, in Waynoka, Oklahoma, to Clayton Lewis Milledge and Wilma Lorene (Quinn) Milledge. Ronald passed from this life on April 2, 2026 at his home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma surrounded by his family. He grew up in Waynoka and graduated from Waynoka High School in 1976. He went on to attend Northwestern Oklahoma State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Drafting in 1981. Continuing his education, Ronald later completed a one-year certificate in Computer-Aided Drafting Technology from Three Rivers Community Technical College in 1995. On March 7, 1981, Ronald married the love of his life, Viola Marie (Burnidge) Milledge, in Alva, Oklahoma. Their marriage was marked by devotion, partnership, and a shared commitment to family and faith. Ronald lived a life of service, hard work, and dedication. He served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard from 1975 to 1987 as a Field Artilleryman. During those years, he also worked at the Farmer’s Co-Op Gas Station in Alva, Oklahoma from 1976 to 1986. He later worked as a phone repairman for GTE in Shattuck, Oklahoma from 1986 to 1987. In 1987, Ronald enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served honorably as a submariner and Electronic Technician until 1995. Following his military service, he pursued a long and successful career in drafting. He worked in Computer-Aided Drafting at Barrett Trailers in Purcell, Oklahoma from 1995 to 2015, and then served as Drafting Supervisor at Burford Corporation in Maysville, Oklahoma from 2015 until 2026. Ronald was a man of deep and abiding faith. He attended church throughout his life and served in many capacities, always placing God at the center of everything he did. He was also a proud member of the Garvin County Chorale Society, where he shared his love of music by participating in numerous productions and concerts. Those who knew Ronald will remember him as a devoted Christian, a loving husband, a proud father and grandfather, and a steadfast patriot. He believed firmly that God came first, family second, and career third—and he lived that belief every day. He was a sensible and effective leader, a loyal friend, a jovial grandfather, and a skilled craftsman who took pride in his work. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Ronald is survived by his wife Viola Marie (Burnidge) Milledge of the home; Son, Joshua Milledge and wife Courtney of Clover, South Carolina; Daughter, Rebecca Underwood and husband Gary of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Brother, Larry Milledge and wife Gayla of Waynoka, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Haley Milledge, Harper Underwood, Hadlee Underwood; and a host of other family and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Wilma Milledge; Half-Brothers, Gale Percival, Lewis Milledge; and Stepbrother, Donald Cravens. Memorial Services for Ronald will be on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with Pastors Jeremy Clayton and Gary Underwood officiating.
