Kay Francis Rankin

Kay Francis Rankin was born to Joe Mora and Dixie Lee (Rice) Felan on September 21, 1952 in Lindsay, OK. She was the 3rd of 7 children. She went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. Kay had resided in Pauls Valley since 1999 coming from Hennepin, OK. She attended school in Pauls Valley and graduated in 1970. Shortly after graduation she began working in Washington D.C. for the FBI in the data entry department. On June 30, 1981 she and Mr. Jerry Wayne Rankin were united in marriage in Ardmore, OK. Kay was employed at the Pauls Valley State School for 18 years as a caregiver. She had a special place in her heart for disabled children. She then began working at the Garvin County Community Living Center in the accounting department for the next 14 years. Kay loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, reading People Magazine, playing cards and dominos, and riding in the semi with Wayne. Kay was preceded in death by her Parents, (2) Brothers; Malone Britt Felan, Joe Lee Felan and (2) Brothers-in-law; Mike Presley and Bill Rankin. She is survived by her Husband of (30) years Jerry Wayne of the home, (2) Daughters; Gena Cowan and Husband Jesse of Edmond, Codie Gee and Husband Jimmie of Bremerton, WA, (1) Son; AJ Hamill and Wife Sonny of Noble, (8) Grandchildren: Garrett, Jackson and Chloe Cowan, Evan, Ethan and Erick Hamill, Dylan and Brook Gee, (3) Sisters; Tressia Stephens and Husband Bill of Pauls Valley, Tina Presley of Pauls Valley, Reba Vandorn and Husband Eric of Huntsville, TX, (1) Brother; Tommy Felan and Wife Tracy of Pauls Valley, Father and Mother-in-law; Jerry and Louise Rankin, (3) Brothers-in-law; Terry Rankin and Wife Shelly, Jason Rankin and wife Jacque, Michael Rankin and wife Jamie, (3) Sisters-in-law; Sherry and Claude Miller, Carol Rankin, Stacy and Brandon Roberts, numerous Nieces, Nephews, and special friends; Martha and David Casey, Rhonda and Mouse Whitehead, Betty Zellner and other relatives and friends.
