Joshua Kale Richardson

Joshua Kale Richardson of Sulphur, Ok. tragically passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 33 years. Funeral services will be held at Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Ok. at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023, with Pastor Charles Dial officiating. The family will have a private interment at Antioch Cemetery. Joshua was born March 21, 1990, in Ada, Ok. to Jimmie Odell Richardson and Kathalene (Price) Stewart. When Kathalene was pregnant with Joshua, he was touched by God at eight months gestation. Brother Charles McKay touched Kathalene’s tummy and prayed, and Joshua jumped so hard that she felt it and people could see her tummy moving. He was born with a birthmark on the top of his head and between his toes. Kathalene knew it was a sign from God. He was the happiest baby she had ever seen, and he laughed more than any other babies. Joshua attended and graduated from Pauls Valley High School, in Pauls Valley, Ok. During his sophomore year he was a member of the Ambassador Choir and traveled to 7 different countries in Europe for fourteen days. He was blessed to sing at Buckingham Palace where he sung for the Queen of England. He started the Prayer Warriors at Pauls Valley High School, and it now has become a large organization. Joshua attended Christian International Ministry Training Center in Santa Rosa Beach, Flordia, where he graduated with an Associate Degree in Ministry. He was a God gifted singer who loved to sing gospel music and had a love for God that was unprecedented. Joshua always found the joy in life and was a major Empath. He always saw the good in people and never judged them. He could truly feel what others were feeling and always accepted people for who they were. He liked telling jokes and loved making others laugh. Joshua liked Science Fiction and really had a fondness for Star Wars. He was very competitive and liked to play board games and spoons. Joshua loved playing his guitar and his ukulele. He was known by his friends and loved ones as “The gentle giant”. He loved his nieces and nephews and especially loved holding them when they were babies, but the most important thing in his life was his relationship with God. Joshua is survived by his Mother, Kathalene Stewart and Step-Dad Mike of Sulphur, Ok.; Father, Jimmie Richardson and Step-Mom Jeniece of Pauls Valley, Ok.; Brother, Mark Richardson and Sister-in-law Kayli of Sulphur, Ok.; Many Step-Brothers and Step-Sisters; Best friend, Josh Watterud; Many nieces, nephews and a host of other friends and family whom he dearly loved and who will miss him deeply.
