Albert Tillman Niblett

On February 28, 2011, Albert Tillman Niblett, of Hennepin Oklahoma, said his final farewell to this world at the age of 70. He departed this world at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, following an illness. Everyone who knew Tillman will never forget the joy he brought to their lives. Albert Tillman Niblett was born on June 27, 1940 in McAlister, Oklahoma to Marcia and Earnie Niblett. He was the 3rd of 4 children. Growing up he was involved in athletics and Future Farmers of America. He found his love of raising animals and hunting/fishing at an early age. Tillman was an Army Ranger and was discharged in 1964 due to medical disability. Tillman enjoyed many different kind of careers in his life time, including Rural Mail Carrier, Restaurant owner, Hunting and Fishing Guide, farming, and horse raising. Tillman graduated from Wynnewood High School and attended college in Ada and El Reno, Oklahoma. Tillman married Mary on May 17, 1975 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. They made their home in Wynnewood, El Reno, and finally settling in Hennepin Oklahoma for last 30 years. Tillman was a man that helped numerous people in his lifetime. He enjoyed helping others pick out show animals, and giving advice on how to raise the best animals possible. He was always available for advice on animals, morals, and life. Tillman was an honorary FFA member in the Elmore City FFA. He was also involved in many other extracurricular activities and clubs throughout the years as he was raising his children. During his time as a hunting and fishing guide, Tillman got to travel to many places and see many things. All of which where shared in his stories with his family and numerous friends. Tillman lived a very full and exciting life, full of traveling and adventure. Tillman also enjoyed drinking coffee and talking with all the guys at the coffee shop. He enjoyed talking about horses, pigs, hunting, and just about anything. Tillman also enjoyed gardening. He loved to grow many things, but his favorite was tomatoes. He was best known for his heirloom tomatoes, which he was the proudest of. Tillman always planted enough to share with everyone. He loved raising pigs and horses, and loved showing his family how to raise them as well. Tillman was a man who loved others, a man who loved helping others. Tillman will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Mary Novitsky Niblett; his children, Nancy Niblett Pickett, Michael Tillman Niblett, MiLann Niblett Seaton, Amanda Niblett Garcia, Albert Tillman Niblett II, MiRanda Ruth Niblett ,Renee Miller, Rick Miller, Chuck Pirtle, Tamela Clark and their companions: Tony Pickett, Kathey Niblett, Tom Seaton, Mario Garcia, and Bre Niblett, Becky Pirtle, his grandchildren: Donnie Hodge, Kevin Pickett, Emily Turner, Bryan Pickett, Journey Pickett, William Niblett, Victoria Niblett, Skyler Niblett, Mika Niblett, Brayden Niblett, Kaydence Garcia, Ayden Niblett; Justin Avant, Cassie Autin, Jessica Pirtle, Ashley Birtt, Keaton Williams, Daegan Clark. Great Grand Children: Haleigh Deen, Keldon Turner, Raegan Hodge, Holden Hodge, Ethen Gonzales, Eli Pickett, Kash Pickett, his sister Jacque Reese and Brother Gene Niblett, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Marcia Howard Niblett, father Earnie Ellis Niblett, sister Earnie Deen Niblett, granddaughter Lauren Pickett, great niece Jennifer Shaw, and close friends Willard Williams and JB Carpenter. Please join us in celebrating the life of Albert Tillman Niblett at Joy Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. on March 3, 2011. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on March 2, 2011 at Wooster Funeral Home in Pauls Valley, OK. Tillman will be laid to rest in Hennepin, Oklahoma following the service at Joy.
