Virgil Larkin Bunch

Virgil Larkin Bunch of Wynnewood, Oklahoma was born to Coleman Jennings and Diamond Mae (Rhodes) Bunch on May 16, 1915 in Rocky, Oklahoma and passed from this life on June 18, 2007 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years. Virgil grew up and attended school at Rocky, Oklahoma. On March 26, 1935, Virgil married Geneva Mae Hutton. Virgil moved to California in 1962. On November 22, 1963, he married Vera Leota McKinsey. Virgil returned to Oklahoma in 1990 and married Florene M. Smith in June of 1990. He was a roofing contractor and a member of the Prairie View Church of the First Born at the time of his death. In his spare time Virgil enjoyed playing chess, word puzzles and playing the mandolin. The highlight of his life was his church. Mr. Bunch is survived by; 1 son: Doyle McKinsey and his wife Lisa of Moore, Oklahoma 1 daughter: Sherry A. White of Wynnewood, Oklahoma 2 daughter-in-laws: Sandra Bunch of Purcell, Oklahoma Alison Vaughn of Mustang, Oklahoma 11 grandchildren: Gary Bunch, Michael Bunch, Chris Bunch, Vicki French, Alisa Franklin, Jay Bunch, Ruben Hoskins, Susan Mitchell, Darlene Hill, Hilary Swiney and Scott Bunch. 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren Mr. Bunch was preceded in death by; His wives: Geneva Mae Hutton Bunch Vera Leota McKinsey Bunch Florene M. Smith Bunch 2 sons: Virgil Eugene Bunch and Gary Lee Bunch 1 daughter: Gaylene Hoskins Parents: Coleman J. and Diamond M. Bunch One brother lost in childbirth Funeral services for Mr. Bunch are scheduled for Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Prairieview Church of the First Born east of Wynnewood with Bro. Chuck Bashaw, Bro. T. J. Root and Bro. Mike Bunch officiating. Jerad Hall, Marvin Henderson, LeRoy Collins, Dustin Bashaw, Bobby Hunter, Doug Stoiby, Manuel Beckner, Rubin Hoskins, Ryan Ellis, Scott Bunch, Adam Turner, and Cameron Hayes will be serving as pallbearers . Mike Bunch and Gary L. Bunch will serve as honorary bearers. Interment will be at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Homestead Cemetery - Homestead, Oklahoma under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
