Dale Michael Brown

Dale Michael Brown of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Steven and Mary (Neale) Brown in Odessa Texas on May 4, 1950. Mr. Brown entered his eternal life in Heaven on November 15, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dale was a country boy growing up, always wanting to be outside and finding out what he could get into like boys do. He had an ornery side to him when it came to school, because he used to try and confuse his teachers because there were so many of his siblings with the same “D. Brown” initials that he had. Growing up Dale liked to ride bulls and he graduated from Weatherford High School in 1968 and then went on to get an associate degree in Forestry. He worked in that field for a while before moving on to what he really loved to do: a consultant in the Vending Machine business. The vending machine business allowed him to travel which he loved while also meeting new people. His family said that he could sell anything to anyone. Mr. Brown was a long-time member of the First Church of Nazarene in Broken Bow, Oklahoma and he was very faithful to the local FFA chapter. Dale had a passion for sports, he loved watching the Oklahoma State Cowboys play football and loved watching the Texas Rangers play baseball, his wife Eileen mentioned their love for Bedlam in their home as she is an Oklahoma Sooners fan. Although he loved college and professional sports there was nothing like watching his grandchildren play sports, his grandchildren were the light of his life, and he would follow them anywhere they went. During his retirement Dale loved cooking and baking for people. His family said that his Thanksgiving dressing, chicken and dumplings, and homemade biscuits and gravy were the best they had ever had. Dale was gentle, he never raised his voice at anyone, and he loved the lord with everything he had. He will be missed by so many. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Mary (Neale) Brown, brothers; David Brown, Dewayne Brown, and Doyle Brown, sisters-in-law; Shirley Brown and Becky Brown. Dale is survived by his wife; Eileen McCaleb of the home, Sons; Michael Brown and wife Lisa Brown of Seminole, Oklahoma, Ronald Brown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ryan McCaleb of the home, Bradley Brown and wife Christine of Oklahoma City, Daughter; Lynetta Walls and Husband Jason of Seminole, Oklahoma, Brothers; Douglas Brown and wife Teresa of Mustang, Oklahoma, Darrell Brown and wife Shelly of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Sister-in-law; Charlotte Baxter, Grandchildren; Tyler Brown of Seminole, Oklahoma, Casey Graham of Goodyear, Arizona, Cashe Graham of Seminole, Oklahoma, Madison Brown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Bayleigh Brown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Gunner Brown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Grace Carter Brown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ashton Yetter and wife Heather of Seminole, Oklahoma, Austin Long and wife Kolbi of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and three great grandchildren; Jayce Graham of Seminole, Oklahoma, Reagan Yetter of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Ashton Yetter Jr. of Seminole, Oklahoma. Services will be held on Saturday, November 19th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. There will be public visitation from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on November 18, 2022 with the family accepting visitors from 5-7 p.m. Interment will follow immediately after the service at Foster Cemetery in Foster, Oklahoma under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
