Tillery of Elmore City, OK was born in Garvin County, Oklahoma on April 7, 1931 to John and Lizzie (Chennault) Tillery, and entered eternal life on March 6, 2010 in Pauls Valley, OK at the age of 78 years. Ralph grew up in the Elmore City area. On March 3rd of 1950 Ralph married Patsy Smith in Gainesville, TX. He worked for Phillips Petroleum, in the drilling department. He later went to work for the State School in Pauls Valley, where he retired after 26 years. A highlight of Ralph’s life was being saved in church at Wallville, and baptized in a farm pond. Ralph loved his grandkids, and also loved keeping a garden and sharing his goods with friends and family. His philosophy in life was to work hard and take care of your family. Ralph is survived by; Wife: Patsy Tillery of the home Son: Jim Tillery and wife Donna of Elmore City, OK Daughter: Angela Owens and husband Ralph of Fox, Ok Brother: Vernon Tillery and wife Jeanetta of Elmore City, OK Three sisters: Opal Harris and husband Sonny of Elmore City, OK, Venita Murphy of Cypress, CA, Donna Johnston of Yukon,OK He is also survived by five granddaughters, and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one brother, two sisters, and his parents John and Lizzie Tillery.
