Charlie Ray Johnson of Wynnewood was born on January 18, 1943 to Glyn and Elsie (Cotheren) Johnson in Vanoss, Oklahoma and passed from this life on February 02, 2010 in Wynnewood at the age of 67 years. Charlie attended school at Vanoss before moving to Tucson, Arizona where he graduated from high school. He joined the U.S. Army and served for four years. On June 12, 1965, Charlie married Sandra Lou Currie in Enid, Oklahoma. He and Sandy drove a truck cross country hauling all kinds of freight for 16 years. They enjoyed their time together behind the windshield viewing the country. Charlie loved old cars and trucks and had fun restoring and rebuilding them. He was a good mechanic. The highlight of his life was spending time with his grand children and great-grandchildren. The most important thing Charlie taught others about life was to stand up for yourself and be true to yourself. He will be greatly missed.
